The Three Rivers Sunday 'B' Fleet Champion 2008          TOTAL OF THE 20 BEST % POSITIONAL SCORES IN THE YEAR        

The purpose of this competition is to encourage Sunday sailing members who would normally not be able to compete against the more experienced skippers.                    The basic rules are set out as follows:- The 'B' Fleet Trophy will be open to all skippers who are not designated as club 'A' Fleet.                                                         This Trophy is awarded in 2008.   Results will be recorded on the Sunday Series result sheet in the usual way. All scores will be subjected to the Met & Southern   Formula to find a % score. Score = (S+1-F) x 100/S). S=Number of Skippers sailing. F=Competitors Finishing position. Weekly these will be added to find the aggregate score. Highest Agg. Score Wins. In order to qualify for this Trophy a minimum of 20 events must be completed. Skippers who complete more than 20 events may improve their aggregate score, as the previous lowest score will be replaced by any better score achieved.

   Tie-breaks: Advantage to the least number of discards or scores in excess of 20.                                                                                                                                                                       RED SCORE = QUALIFIED                 In the light of experience, the Rules for this NEW competition were reconsidered by the Committee of the 3RRYC on the 21/02/2008.    The new RULES and their above results have therefore been reconfigured according to their wishes.
