The Three Rivers 'GB' Trophy - Friday 'B' Fleet Champion 2009

       TOTAL OF THE 20 BEST POSITIONAL SCORES IN THE YEAR

The purpose of this competition is to encourage members who would mainly have results in the lower half of the club racing scores.
The basic rules are set out as follows:- The GB Tankard will be open to all members who are not designated as club 'A' Fleet skippers.                                         For this competition each result will be recorded on the FridaySeries result sheet in the usual way, but 'B' Fleet skippers will then be positioned as if there were no 'A' fleet boats present, i.e. their position will relate to 'B' fleet only.   A minimum of 3 competing boats is required.  (2009 A-B split was calculated using a Friday positional average score.)  The biggest natural break (agreed by the committee) was below 7.0 producing a Friday B Fleet of 11+ Skippers.

Due to their improved averages,  Jim Alderton, Ross Pilgrim and John Rance were promoted to the 'A' fleet.  Congratulations to them for their achievement.
