UK Model Yachting Association. Events; National Ranking lists for 1 Metre and Marblehead skippers; Names, locations and contact numbers of MYA Clubs; Up to date listing of boats for sale; etc.
Hampton Court  Model Yacht Club. Formed in 1996 from an amalgamation of two very much older clubs, the Yachting Monthly 6 Metre Owners Association, and the South London Model Yacht Club. The new Club is situated in Home Park, Hampton Court and sails on the Rick pond. The club boasts a large club house with excellent parking facilities.  Club races RM's, IOM's, and RA yachts, and have a very full sailing programme for all 3 classes. They meet on most Wednesdays and most Sundays.  Club racing starts at 11.00.
Lee Valley Radio Yacht Club. Sails "1 Metre", "Six Metre" and "RC Laser" yachts. Well established and friendly club. Lake in beautiful surroundings. (Lee Valley "v" Three Rivers an annual 1 Metre event). You can find out more about the new "RC Laser" at http://www.rclaser.org.uk
Etherow Model Boat Club. Mainly model boats but has a section on yachts including an article about the "fiesta"
Poole Radio Yacht Club. One of the best and certainly one of the oldest model boating venues in England. Lake set in the beautiful surroundings of Poole Park, Poole, Dorset. Sails 1M, R10r, A and RA yachts.
The Model Yacht Sailing Association (MYSA). Based in historic Hyde Park, London. This year the club celebrates its 125th Anniversary. The principal class sailed is the 10-Rater, a radio controlled miniature of the Americas cup contenders. Sailing takes place on the "Round Pond" Sunday mornings between 10.00 and 13.00.
Two Islands Radio Controlled Yacht Club. Formed in 1993 an active and growing Club with more than thirty members. Has hosted National competitions. Sails "1 Metre" and "6 Metre" class yachts. Visitors always welcome.
Eastbourne Model Yacht Club.  Long established south coast centre for radio control yacht racing. Club boasts an excellent clubhouse, purpose built lake and a comprehensive racing programme.

The VMYG was founded in 1987 and grew out of the research Russell Potts is doing into the history of model yachting and the preservation of older styles of model yacht. It is now a national organisation with over 120 members.
